In the new issue of Closer Weekly, The Young and the Restless‘ Eric Braeden gives us an exclusive look inside his 3,500-square-foot Santa Monica mountain home he’s shared with wife Dale Gudegast for 30 years.
For Eric, his tranquil LA abode was love at first sight. “The first time I drove through the area, I said, ‘I want to live here someday!’” he tells Closer.
Although he may have picked out the area, the impeccable, diverse details of the house can be credited to Dale. “She’s always done the decorating, I just write the check!” Eric jokes.
And with a backyard that features a pool, stone fountains and spectacular view, it’s no wonder the couple couldn’t be happier. “I’m very fortunate,” Eric reflects. “It really does feel like home.”
